The EBi Business to Business Initiative was established in Benoni on the 15th February 2001 by Chris van Biljon and 12 business associates The vision was to create a forum for businesses of all sizes to rub shoulders with each other, to communicate with each other and to be linked together. In short, to do business, and to grow and prosper.
It was also envisaged to use the forum to enhance local economic development between Ekurhuleni and other parts of the country, as well as abroad.
A very important aspect of EBi is the regular weekly meeting held on Monday evenings at different venues. These meetings are very well attended and offer great networking opportunities for members.
Next year EBI Business will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Emperors Palace. The 2011 Business Trade Expo will offer 100 stands for businesses to participate and expose their products and services.
The following Industry sectors will be part of the Expo: Manufacturing, hospitality, exports, transport, travel, franchise opportunities, motor industry, IT, telecommunications, local governments and various other business opportunities. Businesses are invited to join the EBI Business initiatives and also to be part of the 10th year celebrations at Emperors Palace during March 2011.
